A male-only hostel in Dubai's historic heart, 530 m from Al Fahidi Metro and steps from Dubai Creek. The affordable, authentic way to see the city.
Topstay Hostel is a male-only hostel in Bur Dubai, the historic and cultural district of Dubai, on the banks of the Dubai Creek.
Its location is strategic: just 530 m from Al Fahidi Metro, 540 m from Burjuman Metro and 840 m from Dubai Creek. Dubai International Airport (DXB) is 6.4 km away. From Burjuman you have direct access to both Red and Green metro lines, covering virtually the whole city without a taxi.
Bur Dubai is Dubai's most authentic neighbourhood — far from the ostentatious luxury of Downtown or Marina. Here you'll find the Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort, the historic Al Bastakiya quarter with its wind towers, the spice and textile souks, and the traditional abra boats for crossing the Creek.
This is where it all began. Before the skyscrapers and artificial palm islands, Dubai was a fishing and pearl-trading village around this estuary. The Al Bastakiya quarter preserves the traditional architecture of wind towers and cobbled lanes, and the Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort (1787) tells the story of the city's transformation in just 50 years.
From here, by metro or on foot, you reach everything: the Spice Souk and Gold Souk across the Creek (by abra for 1 dirham), the Dubai Frame, and of course Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, just a metro ride away.
All rooms include air conditioning and free WiFi. Male guests only. Check-in from 12:00, check-out until 12:00. Cots available on request for infants 0–2 years.
Dubai Creek, 840 m away, is the historical soul of Dubai — a 1-dirham abra ride takes you to the Gold Souk and Spice Souk in Deira. The Dubai Museum at Al Fahidi Fort and the Al Bastakiya quarter are must-sees within walking distance, and the Dubai Frame offers panoramic views over old and new Dubai at once.
By metro: Burj Khalifa (7.5 km), Dubai Mall (7.1 km) with its Aquarium, the Dubai Fountain (7.7 km) and Burj Al Arab (17.7 km). Access to the metro from Burjuman (Red and Green lines) puts everything within reach without taxis.

Dubai International Airport (DXB) is 6.4 km away. The most affordable option is the Dubai Metro (Red Line) from the airport, alighting at Burjuman, 540 m from the hostel — about 20–25 minutes for under 3 AED. A taxi takes 15–20 minutes for around 30–40 AED.
The metro is the best way to get around — Burjuman connects Red and Green lines, giving access to virtually the whole city. RTA buses cover the area too. To cross the Creek to the souks, traditional abras depart from Bur Dubai dock for 1 dirham.
